The Region VI Pretreatment Association (RVIPA) represents the people of the USEPA Region VI states (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas) whose profession involves working with Industrial Pretreatment.

             The Association is a non-profit organization primarily incorporated to coordinate the EPA Region 6 Annual Workshop which had been coordinated by the EPA Region 6 Office the previous twenty years.

             The Association is made up of volunteers from each of the five states in the USEPA Region VI.  The General Membership from each state elects its representatives to the Executive Board and the Executive Board is responsible for coordinating the conference each year.  There are no membership dues.  Membership in the Association is simply a matter of participation within the region and a professional relationship with the Industrial Pretreatment Program.
